Dear Diary,

First day without significant media attention since put on ticket at end of August. Feels strange. Tried to make news with promises to give back expensive clothing, but apparently liberal media elites more interested in other news. Not sure why kidnapping, attack in Syria, university shooting, etc. more important than vital issues of my clothing and make-up, but there is no accounting for taste among biased media types.

Am unsure if should try to attract attention with controversial behavior (am considering airing views on religion, science, abstinence-only education) or if is better to lay low and let other VP candidate get negative press instead.
