Happy birthday, old dead dude! Here is a picture of myself. Enjoy!
Are you really surprised that I took the opportunity of Ronald Reagan's birthday to talk all about myself? It sure gave me a great opportunity! I was able to wish him a happy birthday and then segue into talking all about my favorite topic. Me! And I even embellished my Facebook post with a picture of… me! You didn't expect me to put a picture of Ronald Reagan on my Facebook post wishing Ronald Reagan a happy birthday, did you?And who cares, he's dead anyway. But me, I am very much alive! And looking beautiful on horseback, if I may say so myself. Sorry for the dude I cropped out. He probably wasn't important anyway. He should be thrilled that his left shoulder made it onto my Facebook post! That is a high honor!
One thing I'm really proud of, with regards to my birthday wishes to Reagan, is the way that I dressed all in black for the photo shoot on the horse. It took a while to find a horse that would contrast well with my outfit. Most horses are brown or dark brown, and me being a brunette wearing all black… it just didn't work. I had to send back a lot of horses before they found me that pretty gold one. I look good, don't I? Rugged.
The picture was taken at the Ronald Reagan ranch, by the way. So that makes it topical. A good choice for a post about his birthday. Tasteful. He liked horses, right? Oh yeah he played some kind of cowboy. I don't know. Who cares. I look hot in that picture.
And here are links to three other articles where I talked about myself, with regards to Ronald Reagan. I visited his birthplace and his alma mater, and it made me think and feel things, which I talked about at length. Not about Reagan, but about how his legacy affects me. Because I am important. I am alive, for one thing! And I am carrying on his legacy. Because I said so, that's why.
Finally, in closing: America. AMERICA AMERICA AMERICA. You can never go wrong with getting sentimental about America. A lot of people might have gotten sentimental about Ronald Reagan at the end of their post wishing him a happy birthday. Not me! I prefer to get sentimental about emotional and philosophical abstractions. It's a lot easier, because you don't have to look up any facts. Ta da!
